Curriculum vitae (updated Nov 2020)

Broadly speaking, I am interested in the diversity and evolution of arachnids at organismic, genetic, and genomic scales. My analytical expertise is in phylogenetics using sequence data and I am deeply interested solving recalcitrant relationships in the arthropod tree of life. Ultimately, my interest in phylogenetics goes beyond “the tree”; my research objectives focus on how these hypotheses of evolutionary relatedness frame our understanding of the diversity of forms and their genetic machinery.
